No Día de Reyes celebration is complete without the iconic Rosca de Reyes, a sweet, ring-shaped bread decorated with candied fruit. But this is no ordinary treat—it’s a game of tradition and anticipation.
Inside the rosca are tiny figurines of baby Jesus. Whoever finds one in their slice becomes the “godparent” and is tasked with hosting a party on Día de la Candelaria in February.

Beyond its symbolism, the Rosca is a reminder of togetherness, as families and friends gather to share laughs, stories, and, of course, delicious bread.
